Mark is retired from the Nestle Company after serving in several Sales and Sales Management positions throughout his fourty-one year career.

Mark Lives in South Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida with his wife, Penny.  They have two sons, Mark III and Chris and five grandchildren.  Both Penny and Mark graduated from East Carolina University in 1962 and continue to actively support the "Pirates".

Mark became involved with the FairTax initiative five years ago after reading the first book written by Congressman Linder and Talk Show host, Neal Boortz and after reading much of the research developed through Americans For Fair Taxation.

He believes that the alternative of taxing consumption (The FairTax) vs. income is a much better long-term choice for the Country as a whole and as an individual citizen.  He devotes a considerable amount of time and effort to his new "career" as a representative of the initiative.
